The Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur Story

Sri Bestari Private School is an internationally recognised private school located in Kuala Lumpur that nurtures and supports its learners in order for them to achieve academic success and become globally responsible citizens. We accomplish this by providing an environment that is innovative and progressive that is grounded in trust, compassion and respect.

The school was established in December 1995, in response to the government’s call to private agencies to fulfil their social obligations to society. The strong desire to this call resulted in our school’s humble beginning in a double storey shop lot in Bandar Sri Damansara. Today, besides the establishment of ‘Education and Learning Support Academy’ (ELSA) by Sri Bestari Private School to support autism, dyslexia and children with learning disabilities, Sri Bestari Private School is also amongst the leading private school offering Robotic, STEM Education, Inquiry Based Science Education, Singapore Mathematics, Foreign Languages and International Examinations.

Located on a beautiful 15-acre site in Bandar Sri Damansara, the school is the pride of not only Land and General Berhad but the entire Bandar Sri Damansara community. Its shady trees and green lawns with over 70 spacious and airy classrooms ensure a conducive learning environment with generous space for sports and co-curricular activities.

The past 10 years of the rich history of the school have been nothing but extraordinary. The colours of the school, her logo, uniform designs, the infrastructure as well as the academic and non-academic programs had seen a complete overhaul. What remains is the ethos of the school which was implanted by the initiators of this expansive, green 15-acre campus some 30 years ago. The school was founded on the principle, ‘Every Child Does Not Escape Your Attention’ where the aims of the school remain clear to provide holistic education to all and in turn develop well-rounded and well-grounded graduates who are ready to take on the world. The success of the school’s graduates who are making impeccable impact in almost every specialised field may it be professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners and in academia is something the school takes pride in.

Message From the Principal

Dr. Steven Baptist

Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur is a trusted brand in the private education sector in Malaysia for almost 30 years. Thousands of students have benefitted immensely from the education and experience received as students and graduates of the school and have gone on to carve impeccable careers in their chosen field of endeavour. The school is now experiencing a return of her Alumni’s children enrolling back to the school akin to a second wave from the next generation. This surely augurs well for the school, its Alumni and her brand.

Sri Bestari Private School Kuala Lumpur is nimble, able and willing to respond and adapt to the growing changes taking place in the education sphere in order to meet the ever-growing global demands. Students are equipped with the required knowledge and skills to excel in the ever fast changing market place especially with the advent of Industrial Revolution 4.0 sweeping the world. Remaining mere users of technology is unhelpful. We need to be creators and innovators in our own right and we at the school have experienced a trajectory of newness in terms of new programs, approaches, methodology and networks the past decade. It does not seem to be tapering off anytime soon. As we expand into new frontiers we seem to keep riding the new wave and explore even more opportunities for growth and development. This is akin to the adage of a school that never sleeps.

We at Sri Bestari are mindful that a child’s development is holistic. Therefore, all aspects of their growth should always be in tandem as self-esteem, respect for others and discipline are no less important than academic and co-curricular attainment.
